A Word For 2009
2008 has been, for most of us, one of the more challenging years, so I think it’s fair to say that we are all glad it’s over. However, as much as we despised 2008; 2008 and 2009 have a strategic connection that we must see. I prophesied last year that each of us needed to “position ourselves in the right place” in order to enter into the new beginning that God had for you. We don’t often understand how sometimes part of our preparation includes great trials. The Lord allowed many of the trials you experienced to test you, to prune you and to prepare you for what is about to come. I shared that as we did the things that were necessary for our healing and maturity, that we would be transformed, renewed and restored so that we could enter into that place of new beginning. To achieve this - preparation was key. So in 2008 we were fine tuned and perfected to prepare us for the “fitting” of a new mantle, a refined armor and an acceleration concerning all things assigned to us by God.

So be encouraged, if you made it through 2008, then 2009 is going to be a great year! 2009 is going to be The Year of The Fullness of God’s Plans. The number 9 represents that which God has ordained as part of his plan that is about to come forth! So, what that means to you is that in 2009 God is about to birth forth (bring into HIS FULNESS) those that are prepared (healed, delivered), positioned – steady, committed, and obedient! And overtake them with divine blessings!

How? Well, birthing is most often defined as The act or process of bearing young; but for this scenario, I want you to look at it defined as this - as entering into a beginning. As we begin to enter into the fullness of the MATURITY of our lives in Him in – as we get things right in our lives, as we implment the necessary disciplines, as we take responsibility for our actions, as we do the things that are necessary to bring us success, and as we obey HIS WORD, then, we are in essence giving birth to our PURPOSE which will lead us into our true DESTINY!!!

So, as you begin this year, you must decide to be birthed into maturity so that you can experience the fullness as HE reveals His plans and purposes that He has for you directly from Heaven to earth!

So, get ready for an incredible year!
